Loren’s return should have been my salvation, but it’s not that simple. The archdemon Nero still wants my tears, and he’s willing to unleash every one of his newly made hellhounds to get them.

My powers are fading as the threat against me grows stronger, and I’m running out of options. Even with help from unexpected allies, survival feels anything but certain.
